Together with Mr. MacGlen, the house’s male dog, I warmly welcome you to our holiday apartment “Blaue Blume.” I work as a managing director near Eisenach, while Mr. MacGlen, as the office dog, ensures the necessary work-life balance. In my free time, I enjoy digging in our small garden, while Mr. MacGlen diligently makes sure no cat sets even a single paw near his territory.

With the holiday apartment “Blaue Blume,” I am fulfilling a long-held dream. At the age of 8, my parents took me on an extended trip through Scotland, Wales, and England. I fell in love with the countries and their very friendly and humorous people and came to know and love the concept of B&Bs. The desire to one day be a B&B host myself remained ever-present. After numerous moves within Germany and abroad, I returned to the half-timbered house at Wernickstraße 7 in 2020. Just under a year later, our “pack” grew to include the lively Havanese, Mr. MacGlen. In autumn 2024, the holiday apartment “Blaue Blume” was opened. So now, it’s time to say:
