House Rules

We explicitly point out that the vacation apartment is a non-smoking property.

On the living room table, you will find a folder with essential information about the vacation apartment, such as the Wi-Fi password, shopping and sightseeing tips, and useful addresses. Please do not rearrange the furniture in the apartment or move furniture from the interior to the garden. Remember to store the cushions for the garden furniture indoors overnight in case of rain. We have furnished the vacation apartment with great care and attention and hope that you enjoy it and have a wonderful and relaxing time here. Please handle all furniture and other items in the vacation apartment with care, just as you would with your own belongings at home.

Cars and Bicycles

In front of the house, directly under the beech tree, there are usually 1-2 free parking spaces on the street. Cars and motorcycles are not permitted to be washed, or to have oil changes or repairs done on the property. Bicycles are generally not allowed inside the house. There are bicycle parking spaces in the rear garden area, which we will be happy to show you.

Noise

The vacation apartment is located in a quiet residential area. Please avoid unnecessary noise in the apartment and garden, and especially observe the usual quiet hours from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Dogs

We welcome your furry companion, provided it is a small and well-behaved dog up to 15 kg. More dogs are allowed upon request. Please do not leave your dog unattended in the garden or the vacation apartment. Dogs are not allowed on the bed, sofas, chairs, or other furniture. Remember that the vacation apartment may also be booked by guests without dogs. If additional cleaning is required due to non-compliance, we will charge you for these costs. Here are some rules for a perfect and stress-free vacation with your dog in our apartment:

1. Keep a close eye on your dog, as it is in a completely new environment.
2. Always leash your dog outside the vacation apartment. In Eisenach, dogs must be leashed on streets and in public areas.
3. Please be considerate of neighbours who do not want to be disturbed by constant barking.
4. Dogs are not allowed on the bed or seating furniture.
5. Dogs should not dig holes in the garden.
6. Please dispose of your dog’s waste immediately in a well-sealed bag in the trash bin outside the property.
7. Please promptly clean up any mess made by your dog.
8. Renting the vacation apartment with a dog requires valid dog liability insurance.
9. You are fully responsible for any damage caused by your dog. Please inform us immediately about any damage caused by your dog.
10. The spiral staircase leading to the upper sleeping area in the vacation apartment is very steep. You are solely responsible for your dog’s safety.

Safety and House Rules

Keep the outside door to the vacation apartment and the windows closed when absent, during storms, rain, and bad weather. Please also do not leave windows ajar when you leave the apartment. The storage of flammable, easily ignitable, or odor-causing materials in the vacation apartment and garden is prohibited.

If you notice any leaks or other defects, such as with the water pipes or radiator, please inform us immediately. Also, report any damage to the inventory and electrical appliances promptly. Ensure that the cleaning supplies provided are stored safely and not accessible to children or dogs. Please note that you must take all necessary safety precautions for your small child and your dog, especially considering the spiral staircase.

Keys / Arrival Day / Brief Orientation

The estimated arrival time should be coordinated in advance by phone/WhatsApp so that a brief orientation can take place in a timely manner on the day of arrival. If you are unable to adhere to the time, please inform us in advance. If we cannot be present at the time of arrival, the brief orientation will be provided at the earliest possible time on the day of arrival. The guest will receive a key for the duration of the stay. The guest is responsible for the loss or damage of the key.

Finally

If you experience any mishaps, break something, or similar, please inform us immediately, as we want to ensure a consistent standard for all our guests. Thank you.
